Scheduling and arrival

Yes. The phone is answered 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, and collections are scheduled around the clock. After-hours collections (5 PM to 9 AM), weekends and holidays carry an additional fee, quoted when you call.

Typically within two hours of your call in the markets we serve. If a collector is finishing another collection, we tell you the realistic arrival time before you commit.

Yes. Testing fees are per donor; travel and situational fees are charged once per visit, so group collections are efficient.

Mobile collections and privacy

When appropriate, collectors arrive in personal, unbranded vehicles and dress for the environment where the collection takes place. The aim is to avoid unnecessary attention for you and the donor.

Workplaces, offices, construction sites, warehouses, transportation facilities, private residences, hotels, treatment settings, attorney offices, schools and other approved locations. We need a private space and, for urine, access to a restroom.

Collections happen in a private space you designate. Results go only to the party authorized to receive them: the employer’s designated representative, the ordering party, or the individual who requested the test.

Valid photo identification. For employer programs, anything the employer has asked them to bring.

DOT and non-DOT

DOT testing follows federal procedures for employees in safety-sensitive transportation roles. Non-DOT testing follows your own policy or request and offers more choice of specimen and panel. Confirm which applies to you with your designated compliance professional.

Yes. All of our collectors, including the owner, are approved to complete DOT drug testing and DOT breath alcohol testing, and to complete all non-DOT testing we offer.

We have established contacts with LabCorp, CRL, Abbott, Omega and Quest, and can collect for any laboratory as long as we are provided its chain-of-custody form.

Testing methods

A rapid test is read on site within minutes and gives an initial screen. A lab-based test is analyzed at a certified laboratory and produces a confirmed result. DOT drug tests are always lab-based.

A rapid screen is an initial result, not a confirmed one. The specimen can be sent to a laboratory for confirmation testing ($40) before any decision is made on it.

A small hair specimen is cut close to the scalp and sent to the laboratory, which reports drug use over a longer period than urine or oral fluid. The laboratory sets the lookback window based on the specimen.

The laboratory divides a longer hair specimen into sections and reports each separately, giving a timeline-oriented view. Results are approximations, not exact dates.

Breath alcohol measures alcohol present at the moment of the test. EtG detects a metabolite that indicates alcohol was consumed within the past several days. Neither indicates the amount consumed; breath alcohol relates to the moment, EtG to a window.

Pricing

Testing fees start at $45 for breath alcohol, $50 for rapid, $55 for lab-based, $100 for hair and $300 for segmented hair, per donor. Mileage, after-hours, weekend and holiday, observed-collection and priority fees are quoted when you call.

Testing fees are per donor. When there is more than one donor at a location, the additional fees (mileage, after-hours, weekend or holiday, priority) are charged once per visit.

Yes. Recurring programs, random pools and volume testing are quoted as a program. Call to discuss.

Results

Rapid screen results are documented on site. Laboratory results are released by the laboratory (and, for DOT, the MRO) to the authorized party, usually the employer’s designated representative or the person who ordered the test. Delivery method depends on the laboratory and your account.

Rapid screens are read in minutes. Laboratory turnaround depends on the laboratory and the result; negatives typically return sooner than specimens requiring confirmation. We do not guarantee a specific turnaround.

No. A drug test result shows the presence of a substance or metabolite above a cut-off level. Only a breath alcohol test relates to the moment of testing, and interpretation still depends on the applicable policy or regulation.
